None of the auto-functionality in a Camera could able to correct the excessive bright area at the foot region without the subject being overly corrected. Even with Image-editing tool we would have to do some amount of work on it ,even if you think the new feature of HDR would help.

Mr.Nobody is indulged to devise/bring forth a novel technique called Flash selection into both these areas, as a hard-ware in the camera and soft-ware in editing and firm-ware.

For easy understanding of flash-selection it is expressed in a Story-mode as well.

Invariably a camera or Image-editing software that would incorporate such an idea can become the next best feature in a Camera or editing tool,to be exhibited at the grand shows of  PMA or at Photokina.

In the motion picture industry it will be used in Cinematography, Special effects [at post-production],here for the reason why, he is (Perhaps) dreaming for an OSCAR or a similar accolade

 A very basic example of a non-professional casual photograph like this, may only  be counter-intuitive, and may only helps to underestimate, hence  one may not be able to realize the full potential of the technique.

Therefore here is another example, a picture that had captured in it's  candidness, but in a haste the lighting was not set properly. The image manipulation has improved the picture only a bit, forgiven for it is not a commercial assignment I am saved,  with a lame excuse . A flexible procedure is a one, which can introduced to modulate the lighting at a later stage such as in post production.
