misinterpretation www.Indecent_photography .com ..
Expected, a step by step guide to indecent …!! Sorry
its only about violation on knowledge content in the form of ill-information or misinterpretation to nature of grammar of
photography by the writers themselves, in the media such as in photographic magazines. Such an act would degrade the standard
of literacy of photography. The present genre with digital cameras tends not to care on such theoretical aspects.
It addresses,
also about the insincerity, disloyalty,
in business practices for eg. how film based ditched by a premature digital photography. Indecency in a common word of expression
of all these forms injustice
. Each of your suggestion or effort could rectify the present system
A reader could, learn to gain
more knowledge, take initiative to write petitionas a drastic measures to these respective people, by forming a team of related
interest, or informing to various forum. we know of various magazine of
photography in circulation, such as Modern photography, Popular photography, Amateur photography, Asian photography and in
India it is Better photography and smart photography. In the further pages each
magazine is quoted by the abbreviation for example
Note: M.P.: for Modern photography, P.g.: for page, Para.: for paragraph

Caution: This page consist of unbiased criticism which exclusively
reflects my own views and does not relate to the aspects of my project. It may not be agreeable with present development of
DIGITAL photography and some of them could be neglected issues of obeisance. You could safely ignore any of them if it doesn't
any meaning to you.
A Quick look at some of the mistakes (mistakes para by para) in s.photo in the inaugural issue of April
2005 alone
(1)Page 63 Para 8:
It reads, sensor records 'luminance' of each pixel.
To be corrected as:
In physics or in photography perhaps, we learn terminology such as luminance,
illuminance, Brilliance luminance is a property of light being emitted from a body, we might have heard a phrase like self
luminous bodies', as that in the case of light emitting diodes of serial lights
or in the form of dancing lights of CD /DVD player. Don’t we ?
With correction it should read like:
Sensor records illuminance of light, which falls on each pixel.

(2)Page 63 para 9:
The other two values between two red pixel are interpolated
to be clarified:
a. Does it amounts to say that
the other two elements of blue and green are non-functional.
b. or the two values of green & blue beside a single red element of
a pixel is interpolated.
Inference: message does not have clarity
****************************************************************************************
(3) Page 63 para 10:
Foveon chip has separate layers for red, green and blue.
and each layers reads all the value
To be clarified as to:
What is the necessity for every layer to record all the three value,
when for eg: sensors corresponding to layer of Red designated to capture only the red component. while the recording other
two values is the business of other two layers.
(4) Page:63 Para 11:
light captured by the sensor are in the form of Digital, hence a computer cannot read it.
To be clarified:
If a computer cannot read a digital file, what else in a format the computer should
be fed with.
(5)Page 65 Para 22:
Do we consider ambient light ......custom profile.
To be clarified:
why those heavy dose of jargons it's your first issue; I myself don't know the exact meaning for custom profile.

(6)Page 65 Para 24:
DOF of a digital camera is increased than a 35 film camera.... keeping the lens in Common.
To be corrected:
'Not exactly' Actually DOF increases, infact drastically, when we use lenses of equal angle of view to
their respective format of image capture, not other wise, or to a insignificant level.
Meaning 50mm is the normal lens for 35mm format, like wise a 25mm would be considered as normal lens
to a much small size of a CD sensor.
In such scenario 'DOF' will be very high in for digital in comparison to film based.
But had you talk in terms of keeping a lens in common, it is analogous to go for cropping (enlarged)
to a similar content of picture from a frame of 35mm or medium format. But Changing to different distance and the like --for
same area of coverage between Film and a Digital Camera--- only gives rise to, pictures of different perspective when compared..of
course we don’t intend to compare two pictures of different content. The extra high resolving power of film will take
care of the extra amount of enlargement.
So the result of change of DOF is Insignificant. Unless
under very analytically under lab condition, those has relevance to things like ---'D.O.C' or ‘C.O.C’ (‘Disc
of confusion') ---and the like. Do you really care, or to learn?
Suggestion:
To know pictorially How small format would have greater
depth of field refer Feb issue pg 93 those photograph of cars. I doubt whether we could do it f8 with a 35SLR or medium format.

(7)Feb 2006: pg 64:pg end:
complains why picture of Digital Camera is not as sharp as film counterpart. Author replies: Film is enlarged 8 times where as Digital
is enlarged 42 times!.
To be corrected:
Digital or film doesn't matter here. We must consider equivalent focal length for respective format of Camera.
With such consideration the image displacement on image capture due to vitiation will be identical for a similar extend
of enlargement meaning.
The distance of image displacement in a 35 is smaller than
the Size of displacement in 120 film. When 35mm is enlarged to greater extend
than 120 for a given Size of enlargement, the ultimate result on image aspect on the print will be same.
Further: Do you say the 6mb of APS sensor and that of 1/2.7" sensor, would suppose to produce different
recording of vibration. Quite ridiculous, Don't puzzle a reader with 42 times
more of shutter speed or to meaning
of that context .

(9)Issue Jan 2006 :pg92:
Comparison between EOS 5D and D2X
To be Clarified:
How do we really compare performance on picture quality? by
comparing picture of identical composition is it? Just take another look, Compare
that flower, and the wood carving for their image Size and orientation.
Where these pictures are hand held shots, It that is the to compare two prestigious camera. Its again
a matter of question of how reliable your evaluation, on cameras for the eve of S.P awards 2006’

Correction required:
It the similar to the kind of inter-changed position of
pictures for flare test of lenses also.

Ms .Krupa Ghandi Produced some excellent pictures of Flowers, hats off to you work
****************************************************************************************
(11)pg 69 : para :4 states:
The magnification ratio of 1:1 on digital or 35mm film will remain same area of coverage. Only thing we will have to change the framing for digital.
Correction:
Not really so, technically. Because we would shoot with
APC sensor with its respective lens of focal length that is comparable to lens which provide similar perspective that on a
film camera. Hence technically we will shoot those flowers from equal distance.
****************************************************************************************
(12)pg69 para 5:
as a Print of 8"X 10" the objects would look much larger with respect to APC-C sensor or smaller, compare
to prints need made from 35mm larger format.
To be clarified:
As we would capture equal composition with perspective with respective
focal length to their corresponding format, there need not arise object of different sizes in the final print.
